We had an incredible day! From the beginning, Jared's communication & organisation was excellent. He stopped by the afternoon before our tour to make sure he knew exactly where our Airbnb was for an easy pick-up the next morning - a thoughtful touch that made everything run smoothly. The day was well organised & completely stress-free. When additional family members decided to join us at the last minute, Jared accommodated everyone with no trouble at all. It was great hearing Jared’s local knowledge throughout the day - he was friendly & engaging, making the experience even more enjoyable. We loved seeing the sights of Savai'i: the blowholes were magnificent (lots of fun watching the coconuts shoot into the air), our swim at the waterfall was refreshing & we finished the day with a delicious lunch at Lauiula Beach followed by some shopping at the markets. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a more memorable day. Highly recommend Golden Eco Tours! Fa'afetai lava Jared!
Last month, my partner and I took two unforgettable day trips with Golden Eco Tours- one to Savai’i and another to Manono Island- and we had the absolute best time. On the first day, we were picked up bright and early, hopped on the ferry and explored the stunning southern side of Savai’i. We saw the incredible blowholes, got to swim in a waterfall and visited the key highlights of the area. We also got to try a traditional Samoan lunch! The following day, we visited the peaceful, car-and dog-free island of Manono. We had a unique chance to learn how coconut milk is made, swam in the sea and enjoyed lunch in a handwoven basket by Jared, our fantastic guide. Honestly, these experiences only scratch the surface of all the amazing things we saw and learned in just two days. Jared was the absolute best- knowledgeable, approachable and always happy to answer any questions we had (we had a lot!). His warm and friendly nature made the trip feel personable and special, so much so that saying goodbye at the end felt like parting a friend. I wholeheartedly recommend Golden Eco tours to anyone visiting beautiful Samoa. Thank you so much Jared!!
