Fafa o Sauali’i

At the northern end of Cape Mulinuu’s beach, the sacred rockpool Fafa o Sauali’i marks the legendary gateway to the afterlife. According to Samoan tradition, this is where spirits depart, following the golden pathway cast by the setting sun. This tranquil site, rich in mythology, gives Cape Mulinuu its name—Mulinuu, meaning "land of the last village." Stay until sunset to witness one of Samoa’s most breathtaking views.
